2008 AMTA Symposium in Boston

QuarterBranch spent the last week in Boston at the annual Antenna Measurements Techniques Association Symposium. This was our third year with a booth and we were very pleased to see so many atteendees take the time to stop by the booth to see what our company is all about. And we certainly had fun with it again this year, taking on arevolutionary theme for the exhibit, complete with a tri-corne hat for a photo op with the RadarMan statue, a new RadarMan cartoon depicting the Boston KRAM Party, and of course, this 
year's edition of the highly collectible RadarMan T-shirt. And remember our hero's revolutionary rallying cry: "No instrumentation without customer service representation!"
Beyond our days as exhibitors, we spent time taking in some of Boston's best sights and cuisine. Two of us even went to see the Blue Man Group show, wherein our own office manager, Melissa, was pulled on stage to be a part of the performance. She certainly didn't expect to be eating Twinkies on stage with the Blue Man Group when she arrived in Boston. But then, AMTA always seems to provide for a bit of the unexpected.

QuarterBranch Celebrates Ten Years of Unmatched Service!

Ten years ago Tom Coombs started QuarterBranch Technologies out of his home. In ten years' time, with great ingenuity and a focus on serving his customers, Tom's one-man consulting company has grown to include the design of its own flagship product, RadarMan™. We celebrated the Tenth Anniversary with a QuarterBranch family picnic at the Coombs house with games and lots of fantastic food barbequed by Tom. Here are some pictures of the fun time we all had, including some amazing shots of Tom Coombs in an apron.

AMTA 2007 was a success!

A few of us at QuarterBranch traveled to St. Louis in early November for the Antenna Measurements Techniques Association annual conference. This year QuarterBranch's president, Tom Coombs, received the honor of senior membership in the AMTA, which we mainly attributed to his graying hair.
This was our second year running a booth, and we certainly had fun with it! We hope you had a chance to come by for a demo of our radar system RadarMan™, or to pick up this year's "RadarMan is my hero" T-shirt and cartoon.
